Journey Through The World of Spirit: God, Gaia, and Guardian Angels

A Near Death Experience Book

By,

David L. Oakford

Description:

The detailed near-death experience of David Oakford that was initially triggered by a fatal overdose, In his NDE, David became bewildered then frightened to find that we do not “die.” Instinctively he knew to pray and was soon rescued by his own "guardian angel". The author shares what he was shown concerning the life-after-death realms: heavens, light beings, dark souls, the life-force, energy dynamics of our planet and its inhabitants, and the lessons-learned from a panel of evaluators. His account of the life, death, and rebirth cycle is a truth that shines through this story is this one realization: Love is the answer to life’s questions when all is said and done.

Journey Through The World of Spirit Reviews:

DR. PMH Atwater LHD: NDE Researcher  and the author of:  several books  including: Coming Back to Life, Beyond the Light, Future Memory, Children of the New Millennium, and The Complete Idiots Guide to Near Death Experiences'

" David Oakford's story is true, real and utterly profound.  Although street drugs were clearly the initial trigger for this NDE, what happened next was a full-blown ascended state of consciousness that is well-documented in the spiritual and scientific literature.  This book is once again revealing the NDE's are not magic, nor do they produce saints.  And we can thank David for baring his soul as to the psychic struggles and depression that followed his awakening.  Because ultimately there emerged a transformed man who knew, positively knew, that there is more to life and death than we are taught in our religious organizations, and more to God's Greater Plan for us than we can imagine today."

Dr. John Jay Harper Author of "Tranceformers: Shamans of the 21st Century"  Near Death Experience Researcher

"One of the most clearly-presented, honest testimonies with respect to both the positive and negative impacts of understanding the purpose of the life, death, and rebirth cycle."

'Journey Through The World of Spirit recounts one of the most compelling life after death stories ever told.  David Oakford's unembellished depiction of his adventure following a near fatal drug overdose explores world seldom seen, with vivid clarity and heartfelt candor.  Oakford's story resonate as an important reminder of something nearly forgotten: the truth of our immortal nature as spiritual beings of light who take human lives on Gaia to make choices of tremendous power. With the voice of an ordinary man who had a most extraordinary spiritual experience, Oakford describes how we all have the means to return Gaia to the path of harmony in this gripping tale of death and rebirth.'

"There is nothing presented in this account that I did not find plausible. In fact, it read as a validation of my own experiences over the years since my own NDE. The fact that we both came from similar down-to-earth working class Mid-Western backgrounds made it doubly accessible to me. As the author states there are great changes coming and extra-ordinary spirits are being reborn to try to swing the societal and planetary balance back towards health. These are the new Shamans entrusted with a mission to help heal the growing rift between Heaven and Earth.

The author's NDE came prematurely, while he was still in his teens, as an unexpected side-effect to drug use. He wasn't ready for it. He knew the message to be true but he simply could do nothing with it until he had naturally lived out the first half of his life (reminds me of Jung refusing to train anyone who had not completed the first half of their life.)

For a slim book it is packed with information. Thirty years of reflection has enabled the author to craft an efficient narrative that gets the message across without wasted words. The subjects touched on are many: out of body experiences, helping spirits, reincarnation, vibrational energy levels, light and dark beings, the spirit city, the need to transcend the ego, the body as only a vehicle, our role as transformers for natural/supernatural energies, higher vibration beings, Earth's role as a place to grow through hard choices and suffering, etc. As I said, there is nothing here that rings false, though personal interpretations may differ somewhat.

The appendix by famed Near-Death researcher Dr. P.M.H. Atwater is detailed and excellent. It makes this a good choice for an introduction to the subject. She cites the most valuable classic authors and cases for further study. Plus I can attest to the value of the bibliography having read most of these books over the years.

The additional appendix which includes an introduction to John Jay Harper's
TRANCEFORMERS: SHAMANS OF THE 21st CENTURY not only supports the main world view of the book, but makes one anxious to also read further.

The author states that he was drawn to metaphysical bookstores to read accounts that reinforced and validated what he had been shown. Well, this book now enters that worthy body of information. Perhaps that is the main function of such accounts- they serve as support and validation to those who have lost their innocence concerning the nature of existence. These are the people who have been given proof- the people who KNOW. Why would this gift be given to such ordinary people? Just look at the mess of the world that the rich, the powerful, the "experts" have created- who else are you going to trust it to?"

"In January of 2006 this reviewer read and commented on David L. Oakford's 'Soul Bared: A Metaphysical Journey', finding it good reading but in need of editorial corrections and improved quality of writing. Now Oakford has published JOURNEY THROUGH THE WORLD OF SPIRIT: GOD, GAIA, AND GUARDIAN ANGELS and the author has soundly achieved his goal of communication a Near Death Experience, creating a book that is not only immensely readable, but also insightful and of the quality that belongs in the studies of psychology students - and the general public, hungry for some explanation of our position in the apparent chaos of the universe.

The story is essentially the same as Oakford's original book: at age 19 he overdosed on PCP and had a near death experience in which he traveled in the ether of the universe with a spirit guide who unlocked many of the codes of creation, the status of the planet earth in comparison to the other portions of the universe, and enabled him to see souls of the spirit of immortality making choices for reincarnation. He speaks with Master Jesus, one of the premiere examples of the potential of man to live a life of unconditional love and harmony with the nature (Gaia), and is given the opportunity to gaze at his own life and chose to reenter corporeal life or stay in the Spirit World. Oakford elects to return with his guardian angel's blessing, wakens form his overdose, and finds a world that does not believe his experience, forcing him to bury important information until his life ultimately allows him to share his Near Death Experience. The story is told succinctly, honestly, and with a sense of candor that makes this version far more credible.

Now having shared his Near Death Experience with the public, Oakford adds to this book a Q & A session which is filled with thoughtful ideas. He also includes and Appendix written by Near Death Studies expert
PMH Atwater and shorter Appendix by John Jay Harper - 'Tranceformers: Shamans of the 21st Century'. The inclusion of these two fine writers elevates this book to a level of importance for the serious student of spiritualism and psychology.

That David Oakford is continuing to grow and benefit from his gift of having experienced a Near Death Experience is quite evident in this new book, and it is now a book that can be recommended without reservation to all sensitive, open-minded people!" Grady Harp, September 07

"Journey Through The World of Spirit" is a most remarkable book, bringing such insight into the questions that most of us come upon in our lives.  What is death?..Is reincarnation a real thing? Are we really punished for misdeeds, or is god really Love?   David Oakford has some beautiful answers to these age old questions, and I could tell by the feelings they evoked within myself, that he was right on the mark."

"There are many books out there today that talk about how we can help save the world, as well as ourselves as a species. There are dozens of ideas on what we can do and while a great deal of them are valid, some of them really come across as quite insightful and straightforward. While you would expect to find some really good ideas in spiritually based books, it's surprising to come across a really great idea in a book as short as, "Journey Through The World of Spirit: God, Gaia, and Guardian Angels", written by near death experiencer David Oakford.

I have had the privilege of talking with Mr. Oakford and even getting help from him regarding some tough areas in my life, and although I have have read a shortened version of his NDE on line, this is the first time I was able to read it in it's entirety. I've been reading hundreds of NDE accounts through the years and Mr. Oakford's experience is one of the most fascinating, especially with regards to the earth. There are few accounts that deal so specifically with the earth and negative spirits, and his account is one that does so in great detail. In his otherworldly journey that he undertook, Mr. Oakford met guardian angels and spirit guides (including his own, named "Bob"), learned about the earth and how it has a spirit, about the universe, the spiritual world, dark spirits, Jesus, and God. Eventually, after going through a life review and seeing how he can benefit others on earth with his insights and experience, Mr. Oakford returns to life.

Sometimes the best books are the ones that have the smallest amount of fluff and filler, and are the ones that get right to the point in the message they are trying to say. "Journey Through The World of Spirit God, Gaia and Guardian Angels"
is such a book, and while it may be short, do not underestimate it's usefulness or the wealth of information that it contains, such as, for example, explaining about energy. It's fascinating to read about how, when he was journeying across the earth, Mr. Oakford saw that each area of the earth has energy coming from it. Areas that are rich in animals and nature are very high in energy, while cities and areas with very little of the natural world had very low energy, and how countries such as Africa, Asia, and Tibet have a higher (or "nicer" quality as he describes it) energy concentration due to not have a self-centered consumer like society. It is quite fascinating to read about how energy is so important in our world, both the physical and the spiritual.

Another topic that fascinated me in the book is was what Mr. Oakford describes as, 'dark souls'. To sum it up, these are spirits who are very selfish and think only of themselves, living as spiritual vampires, sucking energy from the living. Certainly disturbing, but advice is given on how to avoid them, mainly by focusing on the love within us, seek to evolve ourselves in spirit, and choose not to follow this dark energy, and to seek what the intention of these beings are (if it's self-centered and harms others, then that's a big warning sign). Useful information indeed for those who seek to avoid as much negativity as possible!

When the main NDE experience is finished, the book isn't over yet, for there are three appendixes in the back for you to read. The first is a Q and A session with Mr. Oakford where he talks about things such as Reincarnation, Animal spirits, and Astrology. After that comes "The Complete Idiot's Guide To Near Death Experiences' by noted NDE Researcher P.M.H. Atwater. Though not as detailed and in depth as other NDE books, it is a very good start for those who are just beginning to learn about NDE's and want to know more about them. The third and final appendix contains related material from "Tranceformers: Shamans of the 21rst Century" by John Jay Harper.

While the book is, overall, trim and lean, informative and entertaining, what it does best is stress how we can help heal the world, ourselves, and our relations with others, both as individuals and as groups, and as nations. The overall message that this book gives us is very clear: All of us, no matter what religion or what we believe in, need to raise our own personal energy fields and seek to live in harmony and love with others. It's stressed that there's a very hard period coming up here on earth, and we need to learn to co-exist in peace more then ever before. But all of it can be summed up in a message that is stressed over and over again. We need to love each other unconditionally. When Mr. Oakford meets Jesus himself, '...Jesus shared that loving one another unconditionally is what souls must do in order for peace and harmony to become fully-felt on Gaia.' The general message given here is that we need to be more earth focused, love focused, and nature focused, to help raise our own energies to heal the world and those around us. And while love is stressed over and over in many different sources as the solution to the world's problems, the way it is presented here makes it a very worthy read.

Overall, Mr. Oakford's book is very lean, easy to read, and highly informative. If you are interested in NDE's, the spiritual world, and seek advice that can help you in your spiritual life, then "Journey" is highly recommended!"

"I don't read a lot, reading generally puts me to sleep no matter how much I love the content.

When I ordered this book I promised myself that when it arrived, whatever work I needed to do, would finally just have to wait. I felt I had a lot of questions that this book just may answer.

The book arrived, I finished all that I could on my job, did a few dishes, made sure the family had dinner, then I took Journey Through The World of Spirit: God, Gaia, and Guardian Angels and ran away into a little corner of my sofa and read and read.

I had no idea that I was about to set off on an adventure that was going to be one of the most amazing I'd ever experienced! The author seems to be completely open and honest about how his "NDE" ( Near death experience) came about, laying it all on the the table, take it or leave it.

As well, he seems completely unpretentious but sincere and loving and I truly believe that this contribution to the Universe and those in search of answers as to possibilities of the afterlife will find many answers here!

When I completed this book, in one night... I felt as if I were free and that love and compassion for ALL LIVING THINGS would be a path I would now NEED to follow. As well, I believe I will again have an opportunity to meet with those who I love and have moved on. Not to mention all of the new souls I may have an opportunity to travel with at some point!

I also learned that I've been a contributor to the decline, in this country, in so many ways. I've begun to make some really big changes in my home and with my friends and family as a result of the knowledge I've acquired in reading this book.

To the author: I appreciate your honesty, and the fact that you were finally willing to bring this amazing experience to the forefront to share with the world.

I'm so glad you moved beyond your concerns regarding what anyone would "think" about your experience. If people really want to "think" anything at all, they should get a copy of this book and read it entirely.

I know I'll be buying copies for my family and friends for the holidays. That and some nice teas would be one of the best gifts I could give!

Everyone... including world leaders, should read this book, we all have so much to learn and the one thing I can say for me, is this book has not only removed my worries for what will happen when I leave this life... It's also left me feeling unbound and able to implement much of this author's knowledge into THIS life. Living and loving in the present is really all I need to do now.

Buy the book and enjoy!"
